Rich Bobby Childs, who wants to be a Broadway hoofer, is given an ultimatum by his banker mother: deliver a foreclosure on a rundown theater in Deadrock, Nevada or lose his allowance. Winsome Polly Baker and her pop are fighting to keep the theater, or at least prevent it from being bought by Lank Hawkins, who owns the adjacent saloon. When Bobby arrives in town, he's immediately head over heels for Polly. Not knowing that he's the guy from the bank, she falls for him. Of course, he suggests that to save the theater they put on a show.
